ParkHint — Privacy Policy

The short version: ParkHint collects no data. Your location, motion activity, parking history and settings are processed and stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers — we don't have any.
What the app processes on your device
- Location — used in the background to detect when you park and to remind you to start or stop a parking session. Location data never leaves your device.
- Motion & fitness activity — used to distinguish driving from walking so reminders fire only when you actually park and walk away. Processed on device.
- Bluetooth audio route changes — used to detect your car's engine turning off/on. Processed on device; no Bluetooth data is stored or transmitted.
- Parking history, saved spots, excluded places, notification history, settings — stored locally on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
What we do NOT do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no personal data collection
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs
- No transmission of location or any other data to JL Tech or anyone else
SMS
To start or stop a parking session, ParkHint prepares an SMS to the AzParking short number 1181 (your plate and zone number). The message opens in Apple Messages and is only sent when you tap Send. Standard SMS rates apply. ParkHint is an independent helper app and is not affiliated with AzParking or any parking operator.
Purchases
ParkHint Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Purchases can be restored through your Apple ID.

- Location (Always) — background parking detection
- Motion & Fitness — driving vs. walking classification
- Notifications — parking reminders
You can revoke any permission in iOS Settings at any time; related features will stop working.
Children
ParkHint is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
